Cableless Seismic Data Survey Management System

A system which manages the logistics of large seismic data surveys. NPSi designed and developed the system for a client company who had engineered a unique cableless seismic data acquisition device.

Technologies: Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, and Microsoft Access based reporting.

Integration Hub for WITSML Oilwell Drilling Data

An extensible implementation of a WITSML server, client, subscriber and publisher. NPSi designed and developed the system based on our experience authoring the WITSML API and Schemas.

Technologies: Microsoft .NET and SQL Server.

Stored-Value Debit Card System

A system which authorizes ATM/POS transactions for the industry's first stored-value debit card. Starting with a one-page concept, NPSi designed and implemented a high-volume, high-performance server and database which interfaces to ATM/POS networks to authorize the card transactions, as well as interfaces to other systems and networks.

Technologies: Server application written in C++ using Oracle on UNIX, with Microsoft .NET Windows and ASP Web user-interface components.

Oilfield Service Consolidated ERP-Operation Statistics Database

A system which consolidates backoffice ERP data with associated field operations data in order to provide cross-function reporting and queries. NPSi designed and implemented the system components shown in blue, accessing the client's existing databases.

Technologies: Microsoft VB, ASP, and SQL Server.

Water Quality Monitoring

Conversion of an existing off-the-shelf application from an Access database to SQL Server. NPSi performed the migration, necessary application changes and related cleanup of the existing data, resulting in a more reliable and better-performing application.

Technologies: Microsoft Access and SQL Server.

Hazardous Chemical Storage EPA Reporting System

A distributed application that allows individual field locations to track their hazardous chemical storage while also providing centralized corporate and regulatory reporting. NPSi designed, developed and supported the application.

Technologies: Microsoft VB.

Passive Seismic Data Processing Job Management System

A system which enables the massively-parallel processing of seismic data by allowing a user to define, submit and monitor the results of large numbers of "batch" jobs, with each job processing only a small subset of the overall dataset. NPSi designed and implemented the "front-end" portions of the system shown in blue.

Technologies: Microsoft .NET and Oracle.
